Accessibility​

Public Transport​

maakleerplek is just a 10-minute walk from Leuven Station and is easily accessible by train. Coming by bus? Get off at the Engels plein stop, right behind the new harbor building. maakleerplek is located across the canal.

Bicycle​

There is a bicycle parking area on the maakleerplek site, with space for larger bikes and cargo bikes.

If you can't reach maakleerplek by public transport or bicycle, you can park here:

  • Parking Tweewaters
  • Parking Vaartkom

Kiss & ride zone
Everyone parks for free for the first 15 minutes in Parking Tweewaters. This way, the parking can be used as a kiss & ride zone.

For visitors with reduced mobility, a drop-off option is provided.
All spaces in Molens van Orshoven are accessible by elevator for everyone.

maakleerplek is a temporary use of a former factory building. Unfortunately, the inner courtyard of Molens van Orshoven is less well adapted to the needs of people with reduced mobility and disabilities.
